Swami Ma Vajrapriyananda Shakti, M.D. is a Swami at the Denver Ashram and closely associated with the Eldorado Mountain Ashram. VajraMa is also a board certified family practice physician practicing in Boulder, Colorado and a constant source of energy and support for the ashrams. She teaches a wide variety of yoga and meditation classes, gives Ayurveda consults and loves working with kids and families. |

Faith Stone is an artist and k-12 art teacher who has taught in Hawaii and now teaches in Boulder. She studied art at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Montserrat School of Visual Arts, the University of Colorado and Naropa University. Faith has also had a career as a chef and has published two cookbooks. She is the Director of the Eldorado Yoga Day Camp, where she infuses the entire camp with her creative energy and where her art room is filled with eager campers engrossed in imaginative and resourceful arts and crafts projects. |

Anne Pierce (Yogita) is a certified elementary teacher who has taught for the Colorado Public School system in K to 5th grade for 24 years. She has been a student of Shambhava meditation for 22 years. She brings a warmth and open heart to her work with children. |

Jan Tull, M.Ed.(Janabai) brings over 30 years experience working with young children as a teacher and administrator. She has been a preschool teacher with a parent cooperative preschool in Denver, worked with Headstart, and also taught in the Boulder Valley School District. She is one of Sri Shambhavananda’s senior students, teaches meditation classes, and one-on-one sessions with students wishing to deepen their practice. She’s very enthusiastic about Yoga Kid’s Camp!! |

Sundari Hein is a board certified music therapist and a professional violinist. She has worked as a clinician with children of all ages, using music to enhance creativity and foster positive group interaction. Sundari is a member of the devotional band Shiva’s Garden and has played with professional orchestras across the state. |

Robin Hoffman (Durga) is the author of Heart, Paper, Scissors: An Arts & Crafts Activity for Self-Expression, Healing and Growth. She has a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. She teaches “Heart, Paper, Scissors” workshops to children as well as educators and counselors nationwide. She has been a part of the Eldorado ashram community for 7 years and has two children. |

Bhavani Russell, a resident at Shoshoni Yoga Retreat for 16 years, enjoys teaching yoga, cooking, participating in family weekends and one-on-one pottery workshops. Bhavani holds a BA from the University of Colorado in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Her Kids’ Camp specialty is sharing her love for nature through arts and crafts projects and outdoor inquiry activities that focus on the local animal and plant ecology. She believes that learning takes place as a natural by product of having fun in our beautiful Colorado surroundings.

Ram Best has been with the Eldorado Yoga Day Camp for three summers. A native of Eldorado Springs, Ram loves sharing his connection and passion for the local area with kids of all ages. A certified rock climbing guide and ropes course facilitator, Ram loves using these tools to help kids grow and have fun naturally.

Chandra Mazzeo, a resident at the Shoshoni Yoga Retreat since 2004, is a lead teacher at the Eldorado Yoga Day Camp. Chandra especially loves teaching at the summer camp and feels that she might be having as much fun as the kids! She leads activities from making shadow puppets to egg drop contests to water balloon relay races. Chandra brings a depth of experience in working with children as well as in yoga and meditation. She has taught at summer camps, schools, and after school programs for the past ten years. When she is not at summer camp Chandra is a lead kindergarten and first grade teacher at Running River School in Lafayette, Colorado. |

Maitreya Wood has been a resident and yoga/meditation teacher at the Shoshoni Yoga Retreat for 5 years. He likes kids a lot and is a returning Kids’ Camp counselor. He is a lively, energetic and enthusiastic counselor, meeting kids at their level and engaging them in arts and crafts, outdoor activities, yoga, and group games. His creativity shows in the climbing wall and ropes course he put together for kids who come to the Eldorado Yoga Day Camp.
