Yoga
“The purpose of Shambhava Yoga is to give you an experience of the subtle body, to connect to a deeper level of consciousness, and to function from there. Shambhava Yoga has to do with the unfolding of the energy centers in your subtle body. As you progress in your spiritual evolution, each situation that manifests in life can be used to increase your awareness of the Inner Self.”
- Sri Shambhavananda
Shambhava-style hatha yoga classes teach classic asanas while emphasizing devotion, aliveness and fun. You can choose from a variety of times and styles of classes to help you build strength and flexibility as you open your heart and breathe deeply from your own innermost self. You will leave feeling happy and refreshed. Our smaller class sizes and quiet natural setting create a warm, nurturing environment for every level of practitioner. Hatha yoga in the Shambhava School is a perfect preparation for clearer, deeper, more meaningful meditation experiences.

Hi there, I’m a devoted yoga student of your center and think it’s the best in the community. I’ve included it on my (web)site on my Resources page as part of the integral resouces network that I am developing for my clients. I recommend hatha yoga and your ashram for classes to all my clients to help them restore balance in all aspects of their lives.
Thanks for being part of this community and offering such incredible yoga teachers and classes.
Sincerely, Suzanne

Yoga at the Eldorado Mountain Yoga Ashram begins with the pilgrimage to the beautiful site in the canyon. In my class, I feel I return to my sanity, to my BEST self – relaxed, energized, clear. Classes here teach a metaphor for living – basic acceptance as we work our edges. — Catharine (Drop in yoga class student)

I live in Eldorado springs. I love being so close to the Ashram and doing yoga in this beautiful place. I like the variety of teachers and how they approach yoga.

I like the approach here because it is the union of body and mind and breath, rather than just the body. I love Shivasana (corpse/relaxation pose) and find it really relaxes me.

Yoga is all that is true, good and right in this world. The Hatha classes here are like a drink from the well. I am a student of classical yoga – I appreciate the Shambhava School’s commitment also to the classical tradition.
