Yoga Teacher Training Program Structure
The goal of the Shambhava School’s yoga teacher training is to enable each participant to blossom as a yoga practitioner and teacher. Our experienced and caring staff of yogis will give you personal attention in refining your form in the asanas. They will teach you correct biomechanics and core stabilization along with essential teaching skills. They will also help you connect with your breath and inspire you to teach from your own inner depth and intuition. One of the highlights of our trainings is that you’re given the opportunity from very early on to practice teaching with the support of peers and teachers.
The term Shambhava refers to the natural state of being that exists within and that can be experienced through the practices of yoga. Shambhava Yoga encompases the following elements:
- Breath-focused hatha yoga to help us relax, open and align with a more subtle flow of energy
- Meditation practices to bring clarity, focus, and the release of psychic tension
- Cultivation of conscious awareness, openness to growth and dedication to selfless service
